Behrooz educated in Iranian NATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR DEVELOPMENT OF EXCEPTIONAL TALENTS (NODET). He continued his study in UNIVERSITY OF TEHRAN.

Behrooz Modirrousta is member of ASIFA (International Animated Film Society), member of IAA (International Advertising Association), member of DIMEDIA (Digital Interactive Media Developers International Association) , member of IBMDC (International Board of Media Distribution Companies), member of INTWEBFEST (International Web Festival) .

Behrooz won several prestigious awards such as DESIGNFIRMS 2004-2005 Web Award, THE GOLDEN WEB AWARD 2003, INTWEBFEST 2003 UI Award, COMTECH WEB EXCELLENCE AWARD 2004 and CANADIAN WEB AWARD 2002.
